Cups of tea in a bottle

Dear friends,

First, I am sorry not to call or send sms to you all after I left our beloved Jakarta with grey cloud of pollutions (right?). How is Jakarta now? prepare for annual flood ... I bet.

Now, I have news and I am very exciting about it. Please take a look a pic with this post ...
Most of you knew, that I am crazy with tea especially tea in a bottle .. Upi said that I would be sick because of it .... :) .. I just can't resist it .. honto ne ..

I didn't know, Jakarta has this package of this tea or not but really, I was surprised when I found this cute bottle. I felt ... I will not be alone again in this small island, eemmhhhh ... what do you think?

I had another surprising experienced on the eve of new year day .. well, when almost of you were working in the hotel, I saw big and colourful firework in the beach of Harbour Bay a long of Batam Island. Picture this in your mind .. a beautifully colourful firework reflected on a dark blue ocean, decorated the sky with golden, red, orange, blue like a bright canvas painted by an angel with Singaporean skyscraper as a background and its been almost 1 hour duration. For a city girl like me, this moment was very wonderful and couldn't be described by any other words, I just stand stood and whisper to God that I have really had a spectacular memory that I could see this moment .. than I wish one of you could see all this with me .. just one wish for the coming year.

Ok now, about my job here in this warm island. For sure Batam is a warm island, its not hot like Surabaya, I think, Batam more windy on a sunny day. In this month, rain is very often, Sky only full with grey clouds with no water to drop just passing bay to comfort people from the sun. isn't it nice?
as nice as my job at Novotel, to tell you the truth, 4 stars hotel has limited facilities especially at this hotel, please do not compare with there is in Bogor or Mangga Dua, those two hotels is more like almost five star hotel without a diamond but if you compare with 3 stars hotel in Jakarta this hotel is almost look the same .. :) .. how poor isn't it? for me it really doesn't matter at all, as far as the money is okey.
This hotel only had one assistant to sales marketing manager as my boss, has 2 other sales marketing and 2 banquet event, 1 design grafis and 1 public relation, 1 asst. to GM and has Local GM which everyone here hate him because of his arrogance ( did you hear something familiar? ). The hotel is marked by the second best hotel in this island and famous by the hotel belong to government ( which is not) because almost all of the regular or up coming groups are coming from the government ( note: everything with cheap price ).

The owner of the hotel is famous by his 'white character'. The person who has been honoured by the Otorita Batam himself. He also has the famous expensive school all over the island, from kinder garden to university and some famous buildings in town.

He also famous by his kind heart over the hotel, he is very polite man with sharp intelligent shines in his eyes, with smiles he will return your greeting. I personally met him face to face was a week ago ( several time only talk over the hand phone ) he really is a pleasant person. For sure, a rich and humble Chinese is exist .
